It seems that there is no end to Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao’s challenging other boxers of the lightweight crown. Negotiations are undergoing for a tentatively November 8, 2008 fight with the unbeaten Venezuelan knockout artist Edwin Valero but a confidant and associate of Pacquiao’s disclosed that although Valero is undefeated and all his wins are by knockout in the first round, he is not really well-known and has not yet fought top caliber foes. IBF/WBA/WBO lightweight champion Nate Campbell is a more attractive opponent and if Pacquiao beats him, the Pacman will already have seven belts. Spy digital cameras are clicking wherever this Pinoy boxing phenomenon goes.
